Infant Room Assistant Teacher - URGENTLY HIRING

$15.00+ an hour - Kids Crossing is looking to hire a full time assistant teachers, from 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday in the infant room. You will be working alongside 2-3 other teachers interacting with the kids, helping with meals, changing diapers, preparing bottles, helping with naps, etc. You will receive lots of cuddles and unconditional hugs from our little ones.

Hours/Job Info

  • Full Time Position (40) hours per week
  • Infant Classroom (ages 0-8 months)
  • April 2025 Start Date
  • Available PTO, yearly bonus, holiday pay, available health insurance and benefits, 75% off discount on childcare, no nights, no weekends
  • Hours 7:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday

Responsibilities of Assistant Teacher

  • Provide quality care to children
  • Help lead teacher in implementing classroom curriculum
  • Supervise and participate in children's daily activities
  • Assist in providing meals, diaper changes, naps, and necessary care for infants
  • Greet parents and children in a warm, inviting manner
  • Console children, treat basic injuries, work closely with lead teacher
  • Assist in regular communication with parents and staff

Skills/Knowledge

  • Teachers must be reliable, mature, show respect to children and coworkers, and be excited to work with families
  • Have a basic understanding of children's growth and development throughout the infant stages

Applicant Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Have previous childcare experience (preferred)
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Be able to pass a child abuse/neglect screening
  • Have no felony convictions
  • Willing to complete state required background checks
  • Show proof of or are willing to complete CPR certification
